Movement!

So I've been waiting and waiting and today was the day! I felt the baby move!

Occasionally, over the last couple of weeks I felt odd sensations in my belly but I always attributed the feelings to gas. Imagine, if you will, a lava lamp. Think about how the lava moves inside the liquid... "bloop, bloop." Well, that's how the initial movements felt, which really did feel like gas.

Today, I felt a bouncing sensation inside my belly. Up and down repeatedly! It was the craziest thing I've ever felt in my life. I guess she was hungry, as I hadn't eaten anything for about six hours. I am usually stuffing my face every 3 hours or so. I think she was giving me the elbow, "HEY, Hungry down here!!"

Awesome experience! Now we are looking forward to her getting strong enough to make movements that Casey can feel outside my belly!! :)
